Today, at the offices of the Water Regulatory Authority (WSRA), a meeting was held with representatives of the Water Industry Commission (WICS), and the main purpose of this meeting was the signing of the Cooperation Agreement between the two Regulators.
The meeting was opened by the WSRA Director Mr. Preteni, who welcomed the delegation and expressed his satisfaction for the possibility of establishing cooperation between the two regulators, in the hope that both sides will benefit from this agreement.
During the meeting parties discussed about the water sector in both countries in general, the role and responsibilities of both regulators, organizational structure, tariff setting, the form of licensing, inspection, performance as well as the forms of reviewing customer complaints.
After the signing of the Agreement, both parties visited the water treatment plant in Shkabaj, where was welcomed the Chief Executive of RWC 'Prishtina'.
