None of the service providers that provide water, wastewater, treated and untreated water supplied as bulk water in Kosovo can provide these services without a license service.

In accordance with the Article 4.3.1 of the Law No.05/L-042 for regulation of Water Services, Water Service Regulatory Authority (WSRA) is responsible for the licensing of service providers that provide water, wastewater, and treated and untreated water supplied as bulk water in the Republic of Kosovo.

Procedures, requirements, information, documentation, etc, are described in the Law No.05/L-042 as Rule on Licensing of Water Service Providers in Kosovo Rr.05/2016.

WSRA has the authority to oversee and to take measures in case of violation or non-compliance with the Service License which consists of measures for fines and revocation of the Service License if they did not avoid violation.
